Roy Link — Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Co-Owner

As the son of Herbert Wolfgang Link, who established the company in 1935, Roy began his career with LINK in 1970. In 1989, Roy was named CEO/President of LINK, and has since worked passionately to elevate the company from its humble roots to the global organization it is today. It has been through his leadership and tremendous dedication, as well as the skill and hard work of the LINK team, that the company has grown to be a global leader in specialty equipment and innovative testing solutions around the world.

For decades, Roy has been heavily involved in supporting local and worldwide engineering communities, as well as participating on and chairing boards of local businesses and industry associations. In addition to numerous accolades, Roy has been awarded the Engineering Society of Detroit’s Humanitarian Award, the organization’s highest engineering honor.

As Chairman and CEO, Roy has started to transition into a role that oversees LINK’s strategic direction, promoting the growth of the company into new and emerging markets.

Roy is a consummate leader, visionary, and entrepreneur, and he takes tremendous pride and enjoyment in the relationships he continues to build with his employees, customers, and partners.

Matthew G. Link — President. Co-Owner

Matt began his career at LINK in 1997 as a Project Coordinator in LINK’s test laboratories, followed by the same role in our design and manufacturing headquarters, and then became the General Manager of LINK Arizona. In 2013, Matt was named President and began overseeing all LINK operations. Matt is dedicated to exceeding customers’ expectations through upholding the highest level of standards.

Matt is focused on aligning and further guiding the talented LINK personnel by ensuring that they leverage one another as well as the great depth of experience that exists across our organization. Creating opportunities for career growth and offering long-term job security are viewed by Matt as critical components in positioning the company as the leading resource in the testing, climatic, and cutting tool industries for generations to come. Ultimately, his vision is to lead a thriving organization that is constantly evolving and finding new ways to deliver ever more value to its customers.

Adam R. Link — Vice President & Managing Director, Plymouth Design & Mfg. Co-Owner

Adam is currently Vice President of Link Group and Managing Director of our manufacturing facility in Plymouth, Michigan. Adam joined LINK in 2008, serving in technical and application roles in both Korea and the United States, as well as overseeing LINK’s China operations for several years. Adam then moved back to the United States, and took on a global responsibility for all technical activities for Link Group.

Adam takes great pride and appreciation in the working relationships he is able to develop with customers, suppliers, and colleagues from all corners of the world. Above all, Adam finds enjoyment and motivation in new and exciting challenges, and the ability to offer highly engineered, customized solutions.

Derek N. Stoneburg — Chief Financial Officer

Established as the CFO of LINK in 2013, Derek oversees all global financial functions which include accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax activities, treasury, and shareholder relations. In addition, Derek supervises all global Information Technology and legal affairs, and also has high engagement in Human Resources.

Derek has a strong focus on strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, driving profitable growth, and delivering shareholder return. Derek values how LINK conducts business with integrity and unwavering ethical behavior and is motivated to provide a rewarding environment for employees, while driving to deliver the highest value for LINK’s customers.

Tim W. Duncan — Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development

Beginning his career with LINK in 1994, Tim is now leading all global test facilities and service activities, all recent acquisitions, and all LINK entities outside of the United States. Tim is focused on customer satisfaction, as well as ensuring that LINK is well-connected to receive customer feedback and understand our customers’ current and future needs. Tim places a great deal of his energy into developing and expanding existing business relationships while overseeing the development and growth of profitable new business opportunities around the globe.

Tim works closely with the executive team on corporate vision and strategy. Tim is diligently engaged with leadership, sales, and testing teams to direct and execute LINK’s business plan. Tim also dedicates his time to helping to develop and build LINK’s organizational culture, values, and reputation.
